SGF International Seed Catalog List

by Francesca
FuoriBorgo

Thank you very much for all your input and help in compiling an SGF International Seed Catalog List with links to the sites. Below is a list of catalogs by country, in no particular order, based on your recommendations. Some of these catalogs don't ship abroad because of customs restrictions on importing seeds, but the aim of this list is to become a useful reference tool for gardeners around the world, primarily to find good and reliable seed supplies in their own area.

If you have more suggestions, please leave them in the comment section, and I'll include them soon.

A great blog topic for January! Most of my favorites are on the list but a few are missing. The one that really stands out is Gourmet Seeds International.

They ship to the US, Canada, much of Western Europe, Australia, and Japan according to their website.

My favorite here in Japan is Tane-no-Mori (Forest of Seeds)

It is only in Japanese, so I added the Google translate link below.

What a terrific list Francesca! Thank you. I am finally catching up on some reading and I see I have more reading to do, time to plan the garden.

Call for Catalogue - No Website
No frills mail order seed company with a good range of seeds. Doesn't offer the combinations of seeds or the range of accessories that Diggers Seed Club offers but is considerably cheaper and the quality of seeds is just as good. Plus you usually get more seeds per packet. It is my first port of call when buying vegetable seeds.

For some inexplicable reason they do not have a website, perhaps they have wisely decided to opt out of the 21st Century.
